An offshore lighthouse built in 1863 during the British Colonial era atop of a small island in the Trincomalee Bay. The white tower is about 21 meters tall and stands out above the green trees of the small island. However visitors are not allowed to the island, but you can see the lighthouse at a distance from the Marble beach. The lighthouse is operated and maintained by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
