With a soaring height of 73 meters, the waterfall offers a marvelous view that is worth a detour. It is called Gaslabu Ella by locals as the waterfall originates from a small stream of the same name. Folk tales mention the area being used by ancient kings as a torture chamber, and the victims dumped into the waterfall. Thus the name Damana Ella was derived, which later became Dehena Ella.
