A beach with lots of Locals and young couples of the University of Ruhuna, this is a perfect hangout spot for the evenings. It is a perfect place to enjoy the sunsets and make protographs, or have a stroll around. Views of the Paravi Duwa and the bridge are stunning. The other side of the road has plenty of restaurants. The waves are too rough here and it's not suitable for swimming or surfing like the other beaches in Matara.
