An enclosed shrine built with granite rocks, it is believed that the Devinuwara Galge was built in the seventh century and dedicated to God Upulvan. The shrine is located a half a kilometer away from the Devinuwara Vishnu temple.

History of this shrine is not certain. The shrine is relatively small and has the shape of a cube. It is completely built with rock slabs. The inner sanctum is separated by rock walls with a granite door frame. The path leading to the shrine welcomes you with two balusters and smaller steps. Outer walls of the shrines have some designs engraved in.
